ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell football team will have three games broadcast nationally as part of the 2015 Ivy League television package.

The Big Red will play two games on the American Sports Network and will have a third contest on NBC College Sports. Both of the contests on ASN will be simulcast on the Ivy League Digital Network, part of a schedule that will include at least eight of the team’s 10 games this year.

(Cornell went 1-9 last year in a disappointing season; for more on last year, see here and here.)

Cornell will play the first league contest on the American Sports Network when it hosts defending Ivy champion Harvard on Saturday, Oct. 10 at noon at Schoellkopf Field. Three weeks later, the Big Red will play a 3:30 p.m. Halloween contest at Princeton on ASN. Just six days later, Cornell will visit Dartmouth for a rare Friday night contest when NBC Sports Network broadcasts an 8 p.m. kickoff. The game will be one of two Friday evening affairs, as the Big Red will also welcome Colgate to Ithaca for a 7 p.m. start on Oct. 2.

The Ivy League football package will feature 17 league games over three networks, with all eight schools getting at least three opportunities for nationally televised games over the final nine weeks of a 10-week schedule.
