Bus To Nature: Route 22

The funk/soul band Mutron Warriors promises “a full-on dance party from the first beat” when it plays a free show on the Cornell Arts Quad on Friday, July 24, at 7:00 p.m.

Fronted by singer Stephanie Agurkis, this nine-piece band features Mark Weinand and Jamie Yaman on sax, Mike Yohan on keys, Greg Evans on drums, Jorge Cuevas on percussion, Brian Mlodzinski and Stefan Myers on guitar, and Chuck Janvrin on bass.

In case of thunderstorms or heavy rain, the concert will take place at Uris Auditorium.

Cornell’s free summer events series, which runs from June 23 to July 31, includes Tuesday performances at the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts, Wednesday lectures at Call Auditorium in Kennedy Hall, and Friday concerts on the Arts Quad.
