Tanona Irvin, 32, of Trumansburg, is charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and leaving the scene of a personal injury motor vehicle accident, the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Deputies were called at 3:20 p.m. to an area near 260 Halseyville Road after receiving reports that a man had been run over.

Police said a witness told them the incident was intentional.

The male victim and female driver were arguing when he got out of the vehicle and was then run over.

The man was taken to a hospital in a LifeNet helicopter with injuries that are not life threatening and has been released, police said.

Bangs Ambulance, Enfield Volunteer Fire Department and Guthrie Medical Center responded to the scene.

Irvin was arraigned in the Town of Enfield Court and released on her own recognizance.
