The Tompkins County Department of Emergency Response said Route 34/96 was reopened Sunday night.
Only a handful of roads will remain closed on a long term basis, according to the Newfield officials. They include:
— The Carter Creek Road bridge is closed until repairs can be made to the birdge
— Bower Road between Shaffer and VanBuskirk roads
— Sunny View Road between Piper and VanBuskirk Gulf roads
