FREEVILLE, N.Y. — Fall Creek Road is closed after a head-on collision sent at least two people to the hospital Tuesday afternoon in Freeville, according to the Tompkins County 911 Dispatch Center.

Motorists should avoid the area, on Fall Creek Road between Cady Lane and Marlloryville Road, dispatchers said.
The crash was reported at 1:20 p.m. and involved at least two vehicles.
Among the emergency response agencies called to the scene: The fire departments of McLean, Freeville and Dryden Fire, as well as Dryden Ambulance and New York State Police.
A helicopter was called but later canceled due to the weather.
