Officials were called to the 24-hour laundromat at East Hill Plaza at 8:13 a.m. Friday after a person stole $2,000 from a cash machine, said Deputy Chief David Honan.
Cornell owns East Hill Plaza, but the laundromat is a private business open to the public.
He said officials are reviewing video surveillance of the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
