Ithaca, N.Y. — The Wegmans off of Ithaca’s South Meadow Street was evacuated Sunday afternoon after a “small fire” was reported, according to the Tompkins County 911 Dispatch Center.

The fire was reported to be extinguished, the 911 dispatch center said at around 5:40 p.m.
The small blaze was reported to have occurred in a cooler at Wegmans, dispatchers said.
Ithaca firefighters were called to the scene, and one fire truck remained there at about 6 p.m.
The building was evacuated; no injuries have been reported.
