LANSING, N.Y. – A man was airlifted to a hospital after an accident involving a motorcycle and car happened Monday afternoon in Lansing, an official said.

The accident happened around 12:55 p.m. at the 2200 block of North Triphammer Road, a Tompkins County 911 dispatcher said.
Officials from Cayuga Heights, the Lansing Fire Department, Bangs Ambulance, Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police were at the scene.
The man was taken to a hospital in a LifeNet helicopter, the dispatcher said.
