You’re invited to a special 15th Anniversary celebration of the incredible impact of the Community Foundation of Tompkins County on the area and the outstanding accomplishments of its donors, advisors, board, committees, and grantees. A Night on the Town Broadway Extravaganza: Celebrating 15 years of Philanthropic Excellence.

This is a great moment to recognize the true force of our community – and celebrate the local arts grant recipients. George Ferrari, CEO, will share brief remarks and a video toast and end the performances with a complimentary reception. The Community Foundation of Tompkins County enjoys the time, talent, and contributions of 26 Board members, many committee members, and staff, all dedicated to philanthropy education as a means of using informational, financial, and relational resources. We are a strong custodian of our community’s philanthropic capital through reputation, prudent stewardship of gifts, and engaging grant reviews. Your community foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life in Tompkins County by inspiring and supporting enduring philanthropy.

One of our chief roles is to help teach individuals and the community about the values of philanthropy and to take civic responsibility for improving our local area. In Tompkins County the Community Foundation is focused on partnering on assessing and addressing local needs in the arts, children and youth, education, civic engagement, and health and human services.

This event, led by Ithaca College Associate Professor, Choral Director and Community Foundation Board member, Baruch Whitehead, will feature choral members from vocal ensembles, and a 50 piece orchestra! A Broadway Extravaganza Concert featuring hit songs from Dreamgirls, Lion King, Man of La Mancha, Wicked and more.
