The Great Thaw

We’ve all seen the Disney movie, but have you seen the ballet? In three acts, see the story of kind-hearted but downtrodden Cinderella, who is kept in servitude by her Wicked Stepmother and Ugly Stepsisters.

4H Duck Race
For the 15th year, Ithaca’s 4-H Cascadilla Duck Race will send thousands of yellow rubber ducks bobbing over the falls at the Cascadilla Gorge Trail down the creek in a race to the 4-H Education Center. This year there’s a splash of color involved! Check out the details online and get ready for a good time.

Upcycle Craft Night
Do you have a bunch of old t-shirts that should be retired but you can’t bring yourself to throw them away? Join Katie Mangan for an evening of upcycling as she takes you through the process of turning those shirts into yarn.

East Shore Festival of the Arts – Opening Celebration
The 6th annual art, music and food festival held at The Lansing Town Hall Campus the first Friday in May. It is a non-profit event, paid for with grants, donations and alot of volunteer effort. It is free and open to all ages.

Benefit My State
Not everyone is as cool as Ithaca, come out and help keep it that way! Local Favorites The Sim Redmond Band, The Blind Spots and The New York Rock. Huge silent auction, raffle prizes and a special VIP event all benefitting Ithaca’s State Theater.

Ithaca Gorges Half Marathon
