The clip comes from what the fire department calls its “Initial Fire Attack Training (Live Burn).” The training took place on Thursday.

About a week before, Lansing firefighters had been dispatched to a possible brush fire.

Here are some photos from that response as well:

“With a quick response LFD was able to contain and extinguish the fire, preventing it from spreading any further. A job well done team!,” the department said on Facebook.
