This year Village at Ithaca celebrates 13 years advocating for excellence and equity in Ithaca public schools. On April 20th, community members are invited to hear from panelists about our education system, the impact this organization has made over the 13 years and future plans.

On February 4, 2002 over 100 community members came together at the formation of the Village at Ithaca, signing a poster entitled  We Believe In You . This poster is directed to (k-12) students stating we as a community believe in and are supporting their educational experience. Please come to the April 20th event to hear and share about advocacy within Ithaca’s education system.

The event will run from 6 – 8 pm at The Space @ Greenstar and will feature the following panelists: Dr. Nia Nunn Makepeace, Dr. Sean Eversley Bradwell, Fabina Colon, Kim Munson-Burke, Rit Gallucci.
