A one-of-kind event marking the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War. The program includes Carol Kammen, Tompkins County Historian and member of the Civil War Sesquicentenial Commission, reading letters by local citizens including Carol Kammen, reflecting on the events of 1865, interspersed with music of the period, spirituals, and settings of poetry by Walt Whitman and others. The CVE will be joined by guitarist Michael Meyer and pianist Kerry Mizrahi Please join us for this powerful performance. A Reception follows the concert.
