Ithaca, N.Y. — Three teenagers face felony charges after they were found in a stolen vehicle Monday night, according to the Ithaca Police Department.
At around 7 p.m. yesterday, IPD responded to Clinton Street and Prospect Street for a report of a stolen vehicle.
Officers found the car parked on the 400 block of Hillview Place and confirmed it had been stolen.
The three teens — ages 13, 14 and 14 — were taken into custody without incident. They now face charges of grand larceny, criminal possession of a stolen weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Two of the juveniles were released to the custody of parents, and their actions are being referred to the Tompkins County Family Court. The third juvenile was transported to a regional detention facility.
The vehicle was returned to its owner.
