A body found in the Susquehanna River on Sunday has been identified as a man whose last known address was in the Tompkins County town of Groton, according to a report by WBNG.

Ryan L. Bell, 21, was found dead in the town of Union after a passerby saw a body in the river, the Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin reported. He was identified publicly by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, according to news reports.

Below is a photo of Bell posted by state police when he was 19. (The Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin confirms that it is the same man whose body was found in the river on Sunday.)

The Press & Sun-Bulletin said that Bell had no permanent address in Broome County, “and his last known address was in the Town of Groton in 2014.” His death is not considered suspicious.

“Anyone with information related to Bell’s movements in Broome County is asked to call the Broome County Sheriff’s Office at 607-778-2053,” WBNG reported.
