Ithaca, N.Y. — A local man has been charged with possessing property stolen from the Beverly J. Martin Elementary School.

Dylan Goodman, 18, of Burdett, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the Fourth Degree, a Class E Felony, according to a news release from the Ithaca Police Department.

Goodman was arrested at around 2:43 p.m. on Wednesday by officers in the Ithaca Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit and the Dryden Police Department.

Police say Goodman held five Apple Macbook computers valued at about $1,470. Goodman was sent to jail on $2,500 cash bail.

Additional charges are possible as the investigation continues, a news release said.
