The bakery’s downtown location on East Seneca Street will still be open 7 days a week, “same as before,” according to Erin Henrici, who works at Sarah’s.
“It’s a really good location and it’s a lot more accessible to people who are on the Commons and in the hotel,” she said.
The store has been in business for about 10 years.
It posted on its Facebook page on Thursday:
“With much sadness and excitement, I have decided to close my Community Corners location after Saturday March 21st. I will be moving my kitchen to a non-retail space.”
“All the same quality products that you have expected for the last 11 years will be available at my downtown location.”
Henrici said that there were no job cuts expected and that the closure of the Hanshaw Road location is mostly a way to consolidate kitchen resources.
