Ithaca, N.Y. — An Ithaca man faces first-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child charges, according to officials with the Ithaca City Court.

Abdur-Rashid Jackson, 30, faces the felony rape charge and will appear in Tompkins County Court.

He was arrested March 19 and arraigned in Ithaca City Court, according to court officials.

Jackson is in jail, according to the jail log, on $100,000 cash bail.
