Why I Shop Downtown
As a tradition, first-year architecture students build the center of the day’s events: a dragon to lead in a procession. Students also take the opportunity to dress up in elaborate costumes; today’s sights have included knights in shining armor, unicorns, Pokemon characters and vikings.
Here’s an awesome timelapse of this year’s dragon leading the procession, posted by Dan Hickey on Twitter and republished here with his permission. (Thanks, Dan!)
