Crews appeared to have the fire under control and knocked out by around 2:45 p.m., dispatchers said.
The reported fire — the dispatcher thought, but couldn’t confirm, that it was at a wood shed on the back of a house — was at 379 Midline Road.
“Everyone’s OK, as far as I know,” the dispatcher said.
“They think they have it contained.”
Firefighters were called from Slaterville Springs, Brooktondale, Dryden and McLean, according to 911.
