The Ithaca Voice is seeking a full-time business and sales manager for our rapidly growing publication. Founded in June 2014, The Voice has quickly attracted a loyal reader base and generated excitement in Ithaca about community journalism.

We’re looking for someone excited to help us turn our small start-up operation into an established company. Applicants for the position should be experienced in sales; ready to run a small business; and — above all else — fans of The Voice. This should be a good deal of fun, involving late nights and emptied pizza boxes in what promises to be an unpredictable ride.

The basic tasks of the job are expected to include: Finding new advertisers and maintaining relationships with existing ones; spearheading a new Ithaca Voice membership program; organizing the non-profit’s finances; running our payroll and filing taxes; helping us discover new revenue models; and other administrative tasks.

Recent college graduates are eligible. Pay is expected to start at $2,000/month.
