Dryden, N.Y. — Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday afternoon at the Golden City Chinese Restaurant in the village of Dryden.

At 1 p.m., the Dryden Police Department and New York State Police were called to the restaurant on North Street in the village.

Investigators are now “looking for a white female 18-25 years of age slender build wearing a yellow jacket and a red scarf who left with an undisclosed amount of money,” according to a statement from the Dryden Police Department.

The robbery was reported to have been committed with a knife.

“Anyone that was in the area at the time of the robbery or that may have information about the incident (is) asked to call the Dryden Police Department at 607-844-8118.”

The investigation is ongoing.
