Ithaca, N.Y. — Eight to 10 inches of snow are expected to fall on Ithaca beginning Monday night and ending Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service issued a winter storm watch for the area. Travel could be disrupted.

There’s expected to be little snow, if any, Monday during the day. An earlier forecast predicted that the snow would be gone by Thursday.
