Ithaca, N.Y. — Applefest 2014 roared through downtown Ithaca this weekend, drawing thousands with carnival games, doughy treats, and, of course, apples.

The eastern portion of the event was full of amusement park rides and other games.

Around 200 vendors were slated for the event. Below, A.J. Teeter Farm from Enfield.

Naturally, there was also plenty to eat … including for those who entered the festival’s first apple pie baking contest

A wide array of musical acts performed throughout the weekend. The festival began Friday and stretched through Sunday.

Did we mention the food? It was pretty good.

Not to mention something to wash it down with…

Thanks to the Downtown Ithaca Alliance for hosting! We’ll see you next year.
