Ithaca, N.Y. — Ithaca police are on the scene of a reported bank robbery at the Elmira Savings Bank on East State Street Wednesday afternoon.

One officer on scene confirmed that police were investigating a bank robbery and said that weapons do not appear to have been involved in the reported heist.

Several Ithaca police cars were parked outside the bank around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. One officer could be seen inside the bank’s office, talking to a teller.
