Enfield, N.Y. — Emergency crews are responding to a two-vehicle accident in Tompkins County Friday afternoon that sent one car into a house, according to the Tompkins County 911 Dispatch Center.

Dispatchers said the accident occurred around 2:28 p.m. near the town of Enfield.

The helicopter Life Net 712 was called. It’s not clear if it will have to transport anyone from the scene, dispatchers said.

The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Department, Enfield Fire Department and Bangs Ambulance are the emergency agencies that are responding to the crash.

The dispatch center official said he wasn’t sure how much of the car was embedded into the house or the extent of injuries.
