Ian Miles, 28, was arrested on the 200 block of South Cayuga Street Friday afternoon.

Police say Miles has been charged on one count of third-degree robbery, a felony. He has been arraigned in Ithaca City Court.

Miles was sent to jail on bail of $15,000 in cash or $30,000 bond.

Authorities have said Miles entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash “or else people would be hurt,” according to an Ithaca police press release. The teller turned over an undisclosed amount of cash.
