Ithaca, N.Y. — The Ithaca area pair who pleaded guilty to felony burglary charges were linked to 50 different break-ins across the region, according to court documents.
Leandre Lovett, 24, and Nadie Leigh Phoenix, 21, reached plea deals in Tompkins County Court on Friday.
Lovett, who had a prior felony arrest, faces 8 and 1/2 years in prison for his crimes. Phoenix faces 3 and 1/2 years, court records say.
Sheriff’s deputies have said the pair confessed to more than 20 burglaries. An Ithaca Voice review of court documents on Monday revealed the extent and breadth of the crimes, which Assistant District Attorney Gary Surdell called one of the largest in the county’s history, according to WHCU.
