Ithaca, N.Y. — Unofficial results from Tompkins County show little-known challenger Zephyr Teachout besting incumbent Gov. Andrew Cuomo by a huge margin.

Teachout has received 2,487 (or 70%) of the county’s votes compared to 1,013 (or 29%) for Cuomo, the preliminary results show.

Meanwhile, Ithaca City Court judge candidate Rick Wallace appears out ahead of his competitors.
