Lansing, N.Y. — State police have identified the man killed after farming equipment he was working under collapsed on top of him on Monday.

Craig Schenk, 46, of Lansing, was killed after a “combine corn harvester” fell on top of him Monday afternoon.

State police were called to the scene at 295 Lansingville Road around 2:40 p.m.

“He was pronounced dead at the scene,” Sgt. Soroka said.

Soroka said he didn’t expect charges to be filed in the case, calling it an agricultural equipment accident.
