The Ithaca Voice is seeking a part-time accountant/bookkeeper to run the day-to-day financial and bookkeeping operations of our growing nonprofit organization.

Tasks include setting up and managing the company’s QuickBooks file, accounts receivable invoicing, completing monthly bank reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate and orderly records and files.

The position is part time, approximately two to six hours per week. You will work remotely and will be expected to be proactive and work independently while becoming part of our team.

Qualification & Requirements:

— Minimum three years bookkeeping experience, at least one of which should be with a nonprofit organization
— Expert level ability with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
— Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
— Excellent Communication skills
— Ability to work independently
