Ithaca, N.Y. — Two teenagers from Ithaca have been charged after a “series” of incidents where pedestrians were hit by paintballs, according to Cornell.

The two teenagers, who cannot be named because they are underage, have been charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree reckless endangerment, both Class A misdemeanors.

Cayuga Heights Police and Cornell police made the arrest.

The teens will appear in city court on Oct. 8 at 9:30 a.m. and Cayuga Heights Court Sept. 30 at 6 p.m.

“The officers assigned to these cases wish to thank the Cayuga Heights and Cornell communities for their active participation in reporting these incidents and providing valuable information that helped bring the cases to a quick resolution,” a press release said.
