Ithaca, N.Y. — A benefit to help the workers affected by the Simeon’s crash will be held at Lot 10 in downtown Ithaca this Saturday.

All proceeds will go to the Downtown Ithaca Alliance’s Accident Benefit Fund.

A press release announcing the event — called “Real Rock Relief” — says the event is co-sponsored by 93.5 WVBR and the Finger Lakes Technology Group.

A silent auction will be held with items from Dan Smalls Presents, the Hangar Theater, La Tourelle Resort and more.

WVBR & FLTG Present: Real Rock Relief! August 2nd!

Ithaca, NY- 93.5 WVBR and the Finger Lakes Technology Group are teaming up to present Real Rock Relief; a benefit for the displaced workers of Simeon’s and the surrounding buildings. The event will be held at Lot 10 on the Commons. Starting at 4pm on August 2nd, the benefit will include bands on two stages, burgers, snacks, and a silent auction.

All donations will go to the DIA Accident Benefit Fund. There will be a suggested donation of $5 at the door. Courtesy of Lot 10 those that contribute $15 or more get a certificate for a Simeon’s specialty cocktail.

The schedule for the Beer Garden stage is as follows:
4:30- Samuel B. Lupowitz
5:30- Cielle & Friends
6:30- Alan Rose
7:30- Steve Gollnick

The schedule for the upstairs stage is as follows:
5:00- Eden’s Apple
6:15- Ironwood
7:30- Metasequoia
9:00- Thru Spectrums
10:30- 5 Mile Drive
11:30- The Jeff Love Band

DJ Marcos will be playing downstairs from 9pm on!

The silent auction will include items from: La Tourelle Resort/August Moon Spa, Perrywinkle’s Fine Jewlers, Dan Smalls Presents, Hangar Theater, Triphammer Wines & Spirits, John Thomas Steakhouse, P&C Fresh, Darien Lake, the Downtown Ithaca Alliance, and more!
