Trumansburg, N.Y. — A gourmet four-course dinner planned for July 31 in Trumansburg will generate proceeds to help low-income families buy fresh seasonal produce.

The dinner looks pretty good. Here’s the menu:

Tickets start at $75.  Proceeds go to Healthy Food for All, a partnership of family-owned farms and Cornell Cooperative Extension Tompkins County.

A fine dining benefit gala to support Healthy Food For All

Savor the flavors of the Finger Lakes at Word of Mouth Catering, Sheldrake Point Vineyards and Redbryd Orchard’s Harvest Dinner at Sweet Land Farm in Trumansburg, NY on Thursday, July 31, 2014.

The event will start at 6:00pm with a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception in the fields. At 7:00pm guests will enjoy a gourmet four-course dinner. Every bite will feature food harvested from just steps away and will be perfectly paired with locally produced award winning wine and cider (menu below).
