Ithaca, NY — A woman was arrested at Enfield Elementary School Tuesday after becoming “belligerent and screaming obscenities,” according to state police.

The woman, Tori Monroe, of Newfield, was brought to the school because of a complaint, state police said.

When she was issued papers by Child Protection Services, Monroe became aggressive and started yelling at the police.

The scuffle continued outside, where Monroe reportedly threw the paperwork to the ground and then hurled her beverage onto an officer, according to state police.

Police then arrested Monroe for disorderly conduct.

After calming down, Monroe was issued a ticket returnable on June 23, 2014, to the Town of Enfield Court.
