Patrick Feeney is the crime and courts reporter of the The Ithaca Voice. He is currently responsible for writing and researching stories coming from the city and county courts, the Ithaca Police Department, and beyond.
Background: Patrick recently graduated from Ithaca College with a B.A. in Journalism and Politics. He also completed a semester as Opinion Editor for the Ithacan, Ithaca College’s student newspaper.
In the summer of 2012, Patrick interned for CNN, covering stories ranging from the resignation of UN Special Envoy Kofi Annan to a 100 square foot apartment in Greenwich Village. In the past, Patrick has written for several Ithaca College news outlets, including Ithaca Now on 92 WICB, the Ithacan and Buzzsaw magazine.
Favorite Ithaca meal: The Ojingo Bokum at Asia Cuisine, on South Aurora street, is magnificent.
Favorite way to spend a Friday night in Ithaca: A Jack and Coke at Moonie’s, followed by a slice at Sammy’s and a Netflix marathon until some ungodly hour.
Fun fact: Patrick is on a quest to read the longest novels ever published. So far completed: War and Peace and Atlas Shrugged.
